This website (www.artinglow.net) is operated by Ahmed Awad trading as Art 'n Glow, a freelance digital strategy and web development practice based in the United Arab Emirates. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it refers to Art 'n Glow / Ahmed Awad.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have.

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect data you voluntarily provide:

  • Contact form submissions: Your name, email address, the type of service you're enquiring about, and your message.
  • Email communications: If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence.
  • WhatsApp messages: Handled through WhatsApp's own platform and privacy policy.

We do not use analytics tracking, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking pixels. We do not collect IP addresses beyond what your browser naturally sends with any web request.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only for:

  • Responding to your enquiry or message
  • Following up on a project discussion you initiated
  • Maintaining our working relationship if you become a client

We will never sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

4. How We Store and Process Your Data

Contact form submissions are routed through an n8n automation instance (self-hosted on our VPS infrastructure in the EU/UAE region) and delivered to our private email inbox. We do not use third-party form processors or CRMs.

We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months after last contact, after which it is deleted. Client project data is retained for as long as legally required under UAE commercial law.

5. Cookies

This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar service. The only cookies that may be set are strictly functional (e.g., session management for the server-rendered pages) and contain no personally identifiable information.

6. Your Rights

Whether you are based in the EU (under GDPR), the UK, or the UAE, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify any inaccurate data
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to processing
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

7. Third-Party Links
